Մայիսի 14-ին մեկնարկեց Կաննի 72-րդ ամենամյա կինոփառատոնը։ Ժյուրիի կազմը գլխավորում է հայտնի օսկարակիր ռեժիսոր Ալեխանդրո Գոնսալես Ինյարիտուն։ Փառատոնը մեկնարկել է Ջիմ Ջարմուշի «The Dead Don’t Die» («Մեռածները չեն մահանում») ֆիլմով: Կինոփառատոնն ավարտվելու է մայիսի 25-ին։
