Emmys 2019 Winners List

The 71st annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony was held on September 22, 2019, in Los Angeles.

“Game of Thrones” earned the Emmy for outstanding drama series. The honor marks the show’s fourth win in the category (it received statuettes in 2015, 2016 and 2018)! At the same time Peter Dinklage won the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama for his role as Tyrion Lannister.

Alex Borstein and Tony Shalhoub of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” won best supporting acting awards.

Billy Porter took home the Emmy award for lead actor in a drama series.

Jodie Comer won the Emmy Award for best actress in a drama series.

In the category “Best Comedy Series” won the film “Rubbish”, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge won Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

Bill Hader won the award for outstanding lead actor in a Comedy Series.

“Chernobyl” won the award for best limited series or miniseries. Writer Craig Mazin and director Johan Renck were also honored for their work.

Jharrel Jerome has won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series and Michelle Williams has won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series.
